The expressed, written warranty gives you peace of mind, because this type of warranty protects your reputation and risk over the longer term. This protection is particularly important with structural coverage up to 10 years. In addition, a 10-year warranty is a great way to market your homes. Buyers love knowing they have specific coverages for defects in materials, workmanship, delivery systems or structural components. Finally, an Illinois new home warranty increases the value of the homes you sell. And the warranty stays with the home address for the full term – a great resale point for your potential buyers. What Types of New Home Warranties Do You Offer?

We offer an assortment of Illinois new home warranties; something to meet your every need. First, the 2+8 is our most-requested warranty. With the 2+8, you are responsible for specific warranted repairs which occur over the first 2 years. For years 3-10, the Insurer covers specific structural components, which the warranty booklet also defines. We also offer a HUD-compatible 2+8 warranty, which allows you to market your homes to any buyer who is using HUD financing, whether FHA, VA or USDA loans.

A different warranty type we have is the 1+9. In the 1+9, you address warranted items during the first year only, and the Insurer covers load-bearing structural components over the remaining 9 years. The 1+9 is NOT usable for HUD-financed homes.

Finally, we have Illinois 5-year Remodeling warranties for such projects as additions, flips, rehabs and major renovations. The Remodeling warranty provides a one year warranty against faulty workmanship and materials and offers five years of protection for warranted structural components.
